OUR STORY
The company was founded in 2000 to advance the financial and operational performance of healthcare providers. We worked closely with our clients to develop best practices for structuring their systems and capturing data to ensure they had the information needed to make sound decisions, manage their revenue stream, negotiate contracts and evaluate opportunities for growth.
In 2013 the group was rebranded as Rush360 to reflect our expertise and focus on innovation and transformation. We help our clients by drawing on the latest methodologies in management and product design including the strategic execution framework, design thinking and lean to help them achieve bottom line results.

1/ Rush Training: [2000-2008] Developed a NASBA approved online training and certification program for advancing the financial management of industry professionals.
2/ Aarna Health: [2010-2014] Pioneered a surgical payment platform improving transparency and cash flow for multi-provider surgeries.
3/ Hello Workout: [2015-2018] Created a network marketplace integrating fitness and healthcare providers to streamline scheduling, payment processing and marketing.
OUR FOUNDER
Shannon Smith is a healthcare strategist informed by her experience working with both prominent provider and payer organizations. She transitioned from public accounting to industry with Owen Healthcare, a pharmacy management company bought by Cardinal, and later joined Tenet. At Tenet, she gained a strong grasp of healthcare financial operations, physician alignment, capitation management and financial reporting. She joined Blue Shield of California in 1998 when consumer initiatives first emerged. She worked closely with the senior executive team to implement systems, establish policy and evaluate acquisitions and other large investments using the risk based capital formula.
In 2000, Shannon founded the RUSH GROUP to help providers improve their financial and operational performance. She has served as an interim executive to ASCs and hospitals, and as an advisor to technology companies, law firms and venture firms. She co-authored the white paper that cleared the way for payment of e-prescribing service. She has pricing and reimbursement expertise in several specialties including orthopedics, bariatrics, pain management, cardiology and OB/NICU.
Shannon also developed an industry certification and a series of online training courses endorsed by NASBA, has written numerous articles, spoke at industry conferences, served on the editorial board of a prominent industry publication and engaged in several industry associations including HBA, HIMSS and HFMA.
